![]() ![]() ![]() There isn’t any deathmatch or team deathmatch. This survival horror game pits four humans against four necromorphs in an objective-based map. That’s what I was thinking about when I played Dead Space 2multiplayer last week. (Think of Dark Sector if you ever played that.) Finally, if multiplayer adds that little spice to a generally great experience, it’s icing on the cake. (Think of Halo or Modern Warfare.) If developers create an average multiplayer mode with a few maps and modes, I see it as a slice of cake. ![]() If a game has a full-fledged multiplayer that rivals the campaign, I usually think that it takes the cake. Cake is how I judge an online mode’s importance to the whole experience. No, shooting my fellow gamer doesn’t whet my appetite for dessert. When a single-player game adds multiplayer, I usually think of cake. ![]()
